香港舞台藝術從業員工會表示，政府收緊防疫措施，逾千名從員業受影響，要求政府賠償，有劇團不滿防疫政策朝令夕改，多場演出要腰斬，損失過百萬元。

政府周一公布，公眾娛樂場所不可接待現場觀眾，並在公布的兩天後實施，風車草劇團的演出因此有八場要腰斬，損失超過二百萬元，演出前亦花費過萬元應康文署要求為每位演員進行病毒檢測，他們批評政府防疫措施朝令夕改。

香港管弦樂團宣布委任廖國敏為駐團指揮，於2020年12月1日生效，涵蓋2020/21至2021/22兩個樂季。

　康樂及文化事務署（康文署）今日（十二月一日）宣布，因應2019冠狀病毒病的最新情況，有需要採取進一步限制措施，減少社交接觸。康文署將於明日（十二月二日）起暫停開放部分康樂和文化場地／設施，直至另行通告。

本港新冠肺炎疫情反彈，港府今日公布收緊社交距離措施，康文署轄下表演場地亦將於11月30日起推進一步防疫措施，如演出者於有現場觀眾表演期間不能佩戴口罩，須於演出前72小時進行病毒檢測，並需持有陰性結果證明後才可參與表演；如有違規，署方會保留權利，禁止有關演出者演出。

港府再度收緊防疫措施，周四（26日）起，酒吧、酒館、派對房間、浴室、夜總會及會址等場所須關閉，及禁止現場表演及跳舞活動。有關措施會為期7天至下周三（12月2日）。

香港書展再度延期，貿發局宣布，下月中在灣仔會展舉行的書展會押後至明年7月舉行。
貿發局表示，今天與書展協辦機構代表商討，鑒於近期疫情反彈，應避免舉行室內大型群體聚集活動，一致同意，即使採取多項措施，下月復辦書展仍有很大風險，市民和展商的安全是首要考慮，唯有將書展延期舉行。

貿發局宣布原定今年7月舉行的香港書展及當中的香港運動消閒博覽，延至今年12月16日至22日在灣仔會展中心舉行，並會於新展期前1個月，根據當時實際情況及風險評估，審視書展會否如期舉行，再於展會開幕前一星期，即12月9日，作參展商進場前最後評估及決定，以盡量避免展商因進場而可能引致額外的開支。
