卡達博物館今日宣佈其伊斯蘭藝術博物館（MIA）在重整翻新後，於 2022年10月5日 重新向公眾開放。伊斯蘭藝術博物館將在 2022 卡達世界盃期間，為遊客提供更便捷、更吸引及具教育意義的體驗。除了原有的經典藏品，亦將有不少新作品向公眾呈現。重新開幕後，伊斯蘭藝術博物館將舉辦具有里程碑意義的臨時展覽《Baghdad： Eye's Delight》。博物館由國際知名普利茲克獎得獎者貝聿銘設計打造，於 2008 年首次開放，是卡達博物館首間在 Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani 領導下開設的藝術中心。

浸大今年7月成立創意藝術學院，冀培育人才，今學年新推出的兩個本科課程收生理想，分別酌情收多數名學生。該院未來方向是續收多元國籍學生。浸大整體發展方向，潘明倫希望各學院都有科目融合創意科技，例如將運動和科學結合，培育人才應對本港人口老化。
