The HKAAA organizes a Cultural Leadership Summit each year, as a major event of the Association, aiming to bring together experienced international and local cultural leaders to share and discuss important issues of cultural leadership and management which are relevant to the Hong Kong arts scene. This year’s conference, held in 2011 June, will focus on the theme “Arts Spaces That Work, and Why”, exploring issues on venue planning and design; operation, management and governance; programming, branding, outreach and audience development; and alternative arts spaces.
