Technology and arts have much in common where both involve experimentation, require understanding how ideas and mediums blend and impact their audience, and seek to impart knowledge and inspire through their creations.

Being one of the most successful technological enterprises in the world, Google has been leading the development of the virtual world ever since internet has become popular.

Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association (HKAAA) has invited Ms Ksenia Duxfield-Karyakina, Head of Content Policy, Copyright and Cultural Impact, Policy Strategy & Operations to talk about the role of digital and mobile technology for cultural preservation, access and education in Asia and globally, and transformation of cultural landscape through internet and mobile. She will be discussing these areas and topics:

Tech meets Arts: new role of technology for cultural preservation and exchange
Google Cultural Institute 101: areas for cooperation with cultural and education community globally and Google technologies for cultural institutions
Educating arts lovers and broader audience including 'digital natives' through digital and mobile platforms: Virtual Reality, Cardboard, Expeditions
Supporting emerging artists through new technology (AI, VR)
