Fundraising

As we all agree, business sponsorship is vital for the arts and the benefits it brings would extend beyond pure funding. As in all sound partnerships, the success of any business arts interaction would require mutual understanding from both the corporate and the arts organization. We are delighted that Mrs Maisie Shun Wah, Head of Public Affairs, John Swire & Sons (HK) Ltd will share with us the subject on partnership with the arts community, drawing references from the association between Swire and the Hong Kong Philharmonic.

Topics covered would include, among other things, the criteria for success, the challenges and solutions. For practical use, participants are also encouraged to share their own experiences for mutual learning. To allow maximum participation of and interaction among the participants, the sharing will be conducted in an informal atmosphere.
