In the last 10 years, Meijing He has worked for British Council in mainland China and Hong Kong. In Beijing and Shanghai she managed high profile cultural projects such as London Book Fair China Maket Focus involving over 60 authors from China and UK. She was the Founding Manager for the Connections through Culture project, facilitating relationships between influential cultural organisations, including Nation Art Museum of China and Tate, National Performing Art Centre and Royal Opera House. She also contributed to UK Now festival, the largest festival of British Arts and Creative Industries ever held in China, bringing over 200 events with an audience of over 3.6 million in 29 cities. She joined the Hong Kong Office in October 2012 as Head of Arts and Creative Industry.
Born in Hunan province in China, obtained a Bachelor degree in Art History from Central Academy of Fine Arts and a Masters Degree in Arts Management from City University, London.
