香港藝術行政人員協會承邀 Google亞太區內容政策、版權文化影響及政策戰略和營運主管 Ksenia Duxfield-Karyakina 女士探討數碼與手提電話科技於亞洲及全球在文化保存、交流及教育上所扮演的角色以及透過互聯網及手提電話帶來的文化景觀轉變。屆時,她將討論以下範疇:
- 當科技遇上藝術:科技於文化保存及交流所扮演的新角色
- Google Cultural Institute 101:為全球的文化和教育團體提供合作平台及為文化學院而設的Google科技
- 透過虛擬實境、Google Cardboard、考察等技術及手提電話平台教育藝術愛好者及更廣的觀眾(包括數碼世代)
- 以新科技為新興藝術家提供協助(如人工智能及虛擬實境)

“Arts Management Seminar Series: Cultural Heritage at Your Fingertips in The Mobile-first World” organized by Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association was successfully held on September 13. Moderated by Isaac Leung, the chairperson of Videotage and the speaker was Ksenia Duxfield-Karyakina. Ksenia introduced different method for promotion of art, such as Google Cultural Institute, the online virtual museum in collaboration with more than 1,000 well-known museums and archive center, to present the precious relics and collections around the world by the online platform. She mentioned that technologies such as video and apps can be attract more viewers to enjoy art exhibits, the user could searched for relevant color, period, time, location etc . Excepted exhibits, museums can be taken to make the public via virtual reality through a 360 -degree loop perspective and zoom, to present interior design and the environment to the public. In addition to browsing the Internet, the public can also use mobile app and a special tool called cardboard, to watching video by handmade virtual glasses, which is the other way to promote local art. The participants were actively for discussion, and shared with each other at cocktail party, all of them were benefited.
