How to Prepare Impactful Promotional Materials

Printed materials mostly in the form of posters and leaflets/flyers are traditionally the most common means to promote art performances/activities. No matter how they are prepared, the ultimate aim is to generate publicity and to increase attendance. How should we prepare promotional materials so that they are eye-catching and can generate noises is something of grave concern to marketers.

In this forthcoming talk cum workshop, the speaker will share with us the fundamental concepts of arts promotion/marketing as a means to communicate with audience and to entice them.  There will also be a workshop provided where participants are invited to bring along past promotional materials from their own organizations for sharing and discussion, and to learn how they can be improved based on the feedback from both the expert and among peer marketers.

You are highly encouraged to bring along as much and as diverse promotional materials on the day for discussion during the workshop.  With your input and participation, we guarantee that the talk cum workshop will provide insights into the theory of as well as the practical side on this important and popular subject.  The talk/workshop is intended for those working in the area of promotion, publicity and marketing, and fundraising, and in organizations of different sizes and nature.
