Seeking Public Funding and How to Succeed with more than a Programme Proposal

Currently, arts groups can collaborate with the government in various forms to seek public funding for presentation of  works. Apart from the annual subvention which is administered by the Home Affairs Bureau, the Leisure & Cultural Services Department and the Hong Kong Arts Development Council represent other major avenues for collaboration.  In this talk there will be direct communication from representatives from the LCSD and the ADC on the various forms of collaborations, the procedures including the funding proposal and the criteria for fruitful collaboration.  Independent views from ex senior management responsible for ADC  grants will be available for further  insights.   The talk should be particularly useful to any arts groups who want to tap into this funding resource and to understand the schemes and what make their applications stand a higher chance of success.   Targeted audience include both existing and prospective project grantees as well as one/two year grantees.
