Guangzhou Cultural Tour (November 12 to 13)

Guangzhou Cultural Tour of Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association was successfully held on November 12 to 13, 2016. Participants visited various art space after arrival. They enjoyed Guangdong Dance Festival performance “Vertigo 20” by Vertigo Dance Company from Israel at Guangdong Opera Arts Center and gathered with the artists afterward. On the next day, participants visited Guangdong Museum and Guangzhou Opera House which was designed by Iraq British architect Zaha Hadid. We had a fruitful exchange with Mr He Ying, Vice–General Manager of Guangzhou Opera House. We also visited Xinhai Concert Hall with Mr Jeff Yeung, Operation Manager of Xinhai Concert Hall. At last, we went to Redtory Art and Design Factory, the former Yingjinqian Canned Food Factory, now a civilian art and culture hub. We hope the tour could facilitate the cultural exchange between art administrators from Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
