本月適逢桃園市立美術館(簡稱桃美館)四週年館慶,開啟一系列從年末至年初的週年特別策劃,以兒美館12月與法國在台協會合作的特展「走近一片海」、橫山書法藝術館現正展出中的「飛墨橫山」迎接嶄新的年度。此外也包括「地方美術館與當代藝評實踐」線上學術研討會、書藝之夜、聖誕之夜等。桃美館館長劉俊蘭於媒體座談上回顧2021年的各項展覽與活動,尤其桃美館館群展覽參觀人次除疫情間有受到影響,兒童美術館每檔展覽,平均參觀人次皆有12000至15000人次左右,而橫山書法藝術館更在短短開館一個月後,參觀人次即突破5萬。桃園市市長鄭文燦出席桃美館四週年館慶,也大大肯定橫山書法藝術館為桃園創造了新的文化地標,透過美術場館讓桃園人對這塊土地、生活有更多的體會,他也相當理解藝術介入地方的重要使命,他更期待藝術不只是菁英文化,而能深入一般民眾的生活。
