Arty Hour@HKAAA (August 2016)– Easy way for Ticketing and programme application: Art-mate, online Ticketing Platform
Let's Arty Hour!
Every time when the art or cultural organization host different kinds of workshop or seminar, they need a huge of manpower to arrange ticketing and application stuff, and the application time will be limited by the working hour from the organization. Recently there is some online application platform to provide a simple and effective system for art or cultural organization to process those cumbersome work in order to save time for processing the registration, collect the fee and daily management, also reduce the administrative burden on staff. We are pleased to invite Ms. Jacqueline Lo, the webmaster of Art-mate to introduce Art-mate – The online ticketing and event application platform which is tailor-made for Hong Kong art industry and share how the system to support the operation need for art administrators.
‘Arty Hour@HKAAA' is an art and cultural salon is occasionally held by the Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association. The gathering will serve as a happy hour for everyone to update each other on new happenings, exchange ideas and to facilitate arts and cultural development in the casual and relax environment. We embrace an open forum with free discussions. Special guests will be invited to share their views and experience based on the topic. This event is a causal occasion for thoughts to collide and wild ideas to flow. Jacqueline Lo, Webmaster of Art-mate
Jacqueline is a IT Woman in art administration. Jacqueline starts her art administration career on 2005 at Leisure and Cultural Services Department. She had full- time work experience in Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre and Hong Kong Art Development Council. On 2012, she decided to provide IT service to art industry, joined AlphaSoft Design Limited as Programme Director to link up the bridge between Art Administration and IT in order to provide the great IT service to art industry. At the same time, she formed the Hong Kong theatre database and art event online ticketing and enrollment platform called art-mate.net.
