Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association (HKAAA) strives to support the advancement of a flourishing arts scene by establishing a network connecting arts administrators in local and neighbor areas.

Following the huge success of our previous Recruitment Days, HKAAA is launching its fifth large-scale recruitment day at HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity on 15 July 2017 (Saturday) to supply different levels of jobs in the arts field.

Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association Recruitment Day 2017 will serve as a free platform for participating arts organizations and job seekers, offering an opportunity for on-location job application and interview. CV Clinic by Adecco HK is arranged to provide professional advice on job applicants’ resumes and cover letters.

Time: 11:00am-5:00pm

Venue: 4/F, HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity (135 Junction Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong)

Important Notice for Job Seekers / Participants:

Job seekers should prepare stationery, resumes, original and hard copies of academic certificates, identity card and other relevant materials to the venues for job applications and interviews.

Each job seeker can only apply and get interviewed for 3 job vacancies. HKAAA will provide at most 3 application forms . ( HKAAA suggests that job seekers should prepare and fill up the application form before arriving the event.)

Education in tertiary level is generally the minimum requirement for the job positions. Some jobs will give priority to the job seekers who have 2-3 years work experience.

Please register online for the participating timeslot. Job seekers can only register for a company in the particular timeslot. Registered job seekers who arrive at their selected timeslot will have priority to arrange interview. Please bring along the confirmation e-mail for validation.

Limited entry passes for walk-in are available. First come-first served.

Please note that we can not gurantee your place to be interviewed even if you have registered.

Crowd control will be applied if needed. Your understanding and patience will be appreciated.

Details of Recruitment Day: (For Participating Arts Organizations)

Date: 15 July 2017 (Sat)

Time: Venue set-up and preparation from 09:00am, Recruitment Day from 11:00am-5:00pm, Dismantle and move out from 5:00pm-6:00pm

Venue: 4/F, HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity (135 Junction Road, Kowloon, Hong Kong)

No. of participating organizations: 8, with priority given to the following parties:

Local independent arts groups
Nine major arts groups
Hong Kong Arts Development Council funded groups
Recipients of “Springboard Grants” and “Project Grants” under Home Affairs Bureau’s Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme
Funded groups of Leisure and Cultural Services Department’s Venue Partnership Scheme

Estimated no. of participants: 200-300

Deposit: 300 HKD (*Please submit together with completed application form to HKAAA’s office. Deposit will be reimbursed at the end of event. In the case of damages done to facilities at the venue by participating organizations, compensation will be deducted from the deposit. Deposit will not be refunded in the case of uninformed absence of participating organizations.)

HKAAA will provide commercial support and facilitate recruitment promotion through:

Onsite support on Recruitment Day
Online promotion (HKAAA website, HKAAA Facebook, weekly e-newsletter, ADC’s network, social media and tertiary institutions)
Online and printed media platform

Reference interview questions and notes on recruitment will be provided by the HKAAA and sent to all participating organizations about a week before event date. To facilitate promotion of the Recruitment Day, please submit the completed application form on or before 23 June (Fri) for HKAAA’s further arrangement.
