British Council is honoured to have invited Ms Jo Verrent, a leading figure on inclusive art(s) in the UK to deliver a talk and workshop. Jo was on the Unlimited panel, selecting commissions for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) and Arts Council England (ACE) for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad. By adapting real cases in the UK and HK, the talk will be outlining the benefits and key principals of full inclusive practice within the cultural sector, and the timescales, steps and hints needed to make it happen!

Workshop - Inclusion: Step by Step Planning for the Inclusive Arts Programme
From planning, budgeting, programming, marketing, resource allocation, monitoring to evaluation and future planning, a day to practically work step-by-step through group tasks and exercises! This workshop is specialised for local arts administrators who wish to develop skills in inclusive practice, to reach more diverse audiences, participants and artists with and through their work.
