Luncheon Talk Audit Commission & Corporate Governance for NGOs by Benjamin Tang, JP 2009 Dec 09 The response on the first talk of our “Industry Leaders Series”  had been overwhelming with more than 30 participants turning up on the day. Apart from those regular faces, it is particularly encouraging to welcome new faces from our peer art administrators especially from the CCDC, Opera Hong Kong, Zuni, Ming ri Institute for Arts Education, Hong Kong Drama/Theatre Education, Robert Ho Family Foundation, HKPAC and ADC. All the participants had a chance to mingle and chat during cocktail and also lunch before the talk started. Mr Benjamin Tang, JP also gave an informative talk on the legal and administrative role of the Audit Commission and the value for money audit in relation to corporate governance, drawing on examples from previous audit of NGOs. Based on the positive feedback received, we are pleased to hear that the participants had found the event useful and enjoyable.
