因應新冠變種病毒Omicron蔓延，港府上周五收緊社交距離措施，特首林鄭月娥今日出席行會前見傳媒，公布因應收緊措施，令商業處所或食肆受影響，港府將重啟抗疫防疫基金，並落實第五輪措施。​

Since its detection in November, the highly transmissible Omicron variant has caused a surge in coronavirus cases worldwide. In response, several museums in America and Europe have introduced new health safety measures—including temporary closures and limited capacity—while several art fairs have been forced reconsider their in-person editions this winter.​

行政長官林鄭月娥宣布，將會在2月24日實施一系列疫苗氣泡措施，她說，不會好像以往只局限食肆等表列處所，亦可能包括一些文康設施，例如公共圖書館、博物館、學校等，但她說，是否適用於處所的員工或所有人，細節仍在安排。

西九文化區管理局表示，因應政府最新的社交距離措施，M+將於明日至本月20日閉館，所有已登記於此期間參觀M+之人士，可重新預約其他日子到訪M+。M+指定的預約平台將繼續透過電郵及短訊等方式，通知受影響人士最新的閉館安排。​

行政長官林鄭月娥形容第5波情一觸即發，宣布收緊防疫措施，星期五凌晨零時起，食肆晚上6時至翌日早上5時全面禁止堂食，B類食肆每枱人數最多2人，C類每枱4人，D類每枱6人，酒吧、健身中心、美容院、卡拉OK、浴室、主題樂園、博物館、體育場所、戲院等要關閉，本地遊和公海遊暫停，醫院和院舍除非有恩恤理由，否則暫停探訪，4人限聚令和口罩令維持。

India Art Fair (IAF) has announced it will reschedule its 2022 event in New Delhi from 3-6 February to 28 April-1 May. This decision follows restrictions issued by the Indian government on Tuesday as the Omicron variant of Covid-19 spreads across the country. Case numbers have risen to their highest rates since early June, when India experienced a devastating second wave of infections.​
